The Cultural Coalition works to improve the economy, vitality and quality of life in Eastern Connecticut by supporting the arts, cultural and creative community.
From sole proprietors, artists and historical societies, to museums, galleries, cultural attractions and arts centers, the Cultural Coalition includes a diverse cross section of 580+ nonprofit and for profit individuals, businesses, groups and organizations.
The Cultural Coalition is a free membership organization. All that is required is a willingness to participate using our Core Values: Connect, Collaborate, Communicate.
In partnership with the CT Office of the Arts (COA), Department of Economic and Community Development, the Cultural Coalition is a Designated Regional Service Organization (DRSO) "field office" supporting a 42 town region in Eastern Connecticut. This statewide network of service providers supports citizens and the creative economy by providing a regional arts and cultural infrastructure, and extending COA’s goals, programs and services.
