Ruth Lewis is the director of Dimensional Dance, a professional dance company located in Hartford, CT. Lewis has created professional and liturgical choreography for dance companies and churches. She recently created The Story of Ruth, based on the chapter of the Bible, when she collaborated with the New England chamber choir Voce for St. Alban's Chuch. In addition to choreography Lewis leads arts integrated workshops and residencies through creative movement and dance. In her 1-5 day programs focuses on teaching participants how to dig deeper through movement and choreography. She leads professional development workshops for teachers and administrators to employ kinesthetic learning practices. She also teaches yoga and incorporates mindfulness practices in her teaching artist work.
