Institution/Business Type: Artist / Creative (Individual)

Robert Rossel is the owner of Symmetry Tile Works in Epping, NH and a member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. He has been teaching ceramics to adults, children, and individuals with special needs for more than 20 years. Robert spent two years in southern Japan apprenticing with one of the country's top ceramic artists. He combines traditional education with a modern, impressionistic approach to the art of ceramics. Robert uses his skill and vision to orchestrate groups of individuals as they create large-scale murals made from textured, multi-glazed tiles. The result is a permanent, community created work of art. Robert has worked with more than 30,000 elementary school students over the years and their murals can be seen in schools throughout NH, MA, and VT.
