Andrew and Bonnie Periale (Perry Alley Theatre) have been bringing exciting, imaginative theater to audiences for thirty years. Their original retelling of such favorites as Tom Thumb, Snow White, and The Princess and the Pea using puppets, masks and music have made them an audience favorite throughout the USA.

Puppeteers of America

Performed "Mano-a-Monolog" at the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional Festival of the Puppeteers of America, Kerhonksen, NY, September 9-11, 2016. I also taught a 2-day workshop on "water puppetry," and was commissioned to create a new, short performance. It was called "They're Coming," and was presented on the opening night of the festival.
Opera Hub

Perry Alley Theater was a creative partiner in an OperaHub production or the Spanish language opera production of "El Gato con Botas" (Puss in Boots) along with Puppet Showplace artistic director Roxanne Myhrum and the Boston Conservatory opera program. Perry Alley's Andrew Periale designed and built the sets for this production, which will be re-used in the Boston Conservatories production of the opera in the Spring of 2016. Andrew was also a puppetry consultant on the project.

Having worked with Bart McCarthy at BAG (Boston Arts Group) when he was Artistic Director there in the 1980s, Bart presented me in a salon performance of "Mano-a-Monolog" in LA, where he is now living and working as a film and television actor, June 18, 2016.
