MA
We are passionate about community. The Norwood Space Center (NSC) is a community of small business owners, entrepreneurs, artists, creatives, performers and collectors. With shared common and conference room space, businesses who reside at the NSC have the ability to brainstorm, work in unconventional space and socialize with individuals from many different industries. For those who work independently or in small office environments, it gives them the ability to step outside their space or studio and be immersed in a group of “like minded” people.
We help create the work environment you need and give you the ability to grow. Presently, we have a mix of retail, commercial and creative space available. This space ranges from small artist studios of 250 square feet to large commercial suites of 8000 square feet and everything in between.
We also have a 15,000 square foot event space. This allows us the opportunity to bring the local community into our center. Whether a musical event, fundraiser or private function, we have a gathering place for “one of a kind” experiences, without having to travel to Boston or Providence.
Check out our directory to see the businesses who are a part of this community.
We aren’t the aeronautic space you thought we were, we are creative work space. We want you to love where you work. Stop by and meet the businesses in this uniquely creative community, you may never leave!
Available space at the Norwood Space Center.

Artweek MA
Date: 04/2017-04/2017
For the past two years, the Norwood Space Center has been an ArtWeek Community, south of Boston. As a participant we have run weeklong musical performances, seminars, discussion groups, documentary films and art exhibits that are open to the public. ArtWeek has become an annual award-winning innovative festival featuring hundreds of unique and creative experiences that are hands-on, interactive or offer behind-the-scenes access to artists or the creative process. Launched in 2013 and produced by the Boch Center as part of a strategy to strengthen its role in both the community and the creative economy beyond just its downtown historic theaters, ArtWeek’s growth has been explosive. In May 2017, the Boch Center announced ArtWeek was expanding statewide. They also announced that the Mass Cultural Council and Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism had become their new Lead Champions. Working with these two statewide partners has allowed for the development of regional hubs with an expanding showcase of the Commonwealth’s creative economy.
Music Drives Us
Date: 04/2017-04/2017
The Norwood Space Center has worked with Music Drives Us in combination with the David Bieber Archives and Motherlode.tv, two of our major tenants. We have been a part of the Route 1 Project as well as ArtWeek MA. Recently, a number of our artists are participating in "GuitARTS" project.Music Drives Us is proud to launch GuitARTS – our inaugural public art project to promote the arts and importance of music education in the Town of Norwood and throughout New England! We have 10 electric 5-foot fiberglass guitars and 5 acoustic 4½-foot fiberglass guitars that will be displayed prominently in various public and participating private spaces throughout Norwood. Before these are ready to be displayed, we are seeking local artists who are interested in publicizing their artistic style through beautifying and painting these guitars.Following the guitars’ public display, Music Drives Us will put the guitars up for auction. Music Drives Us will use the proceeds collected from the sale of the guitars to support music education programs throughout the six states of New England, including donating a portion of the proceeds to the Norwood Schools Fine Arts Department to support its Music Program. Music Drives Us designed GuitARTS to be a fun, creative opportunity to support the musical community by showcasing artistic talent throughout Norwood. Selected artists benefit by receiving exposure for their artwork through pedestrian traffic in Norwood, as well as any associated media attention throughout the Greater Boston Area. Most importantly, this is a chance to support a nonprofit organization that works to keep music in our New England schools!
