Our Mission

The Northeast Indigenous Arts Alliance (NIAA) is to strengthen and support the Northeast Indigenous artist community by providing opportunities that will promote, protect, preserve and continue the artistic vitality of work in the region. We are a consortium of Native organizations and artists that have joined together to support the cultural vitality of our region, by providing resources and opportunities, addressing needs and connecting artists.

What we do

  • Promote and protect New England Native American art, artists and resources needed to make the art
  • Provide support to Northeast Native American artists by bringing the tools needed enhance their productivity
  • Empower artists by providing professional development opportunities to encourage successful business leadership
  • Provide technical assistance for artists who need help in applying to opportunities
  • Raise the visibility of Northeast Indigenous art and its artists
