At the crossroads of South American folk music and Northern Americana you will find Acoustic Nomads, the band taking the acoustic music scene by storm by blending musical styles from the Appalachians to the Andes, creating soaring original melodies, playful improvisations, and driving grooves that celebrate a shared American musical heritage.
Listening to Acoustic Nomads in-person and on their records, you will hear elements of jazz, newgrass, candombe from Uruguay, chacarera from Argentina, samba and forró from Brazil, landó & festejo from Perú, huayno from the Andes, joropo & jota from Venezuela, and progressive acoustic music from all over, played at the highest level of musicianship.
Following in the footsteps of world music giants like The Silk Road Project, Acoustic Nomads seeks to change the world through musical collaboration. By highlighting the diversity within and commonality between musical traditions, Acoustic Nomads seeks to create curious, compassionate fans of global music all over the world. The musicians in Acoustic Nomads are tremendous performers, and audiences will be swept away on a musical journey across the Americas.
