Montpelier Alive

    VT

Institution/Business Type: Business Service Organization

Every day, we celebrate downtown Montpelier. We celebrate our historic character and our unique sense of place. We celebrate our one-of-a-kind events that bring people together in joyous celebration. We celebrate artists and entrepreneurs who bring their own form of magic to downtown. And most of all, we celebrate the people who make Montpelier the greatest small city in America.

Every day, we build community. We craft events like the July 3rd Independence Day Celebration, named one of the top summer events in Vermont, the Brown Bag Concert Series, and Art Walk that bring people together to join in the downtown fun. We also help other organizations with their downtown events through grants and technical support. Your donations are why there’s always something fascinating happening downtown.

Every day, we celebrate the arts. At least four times annually, we host Art Walk, where the arts take over downtown with more than two dozen openings at art venues and businesses throughout downtown. Each summer, we host the eight-week Brown Bag Concert Series featuring diverse musical acts in a downtown lunchhour concert series. Each October, we host Moonlight Madness, a downtown shopping and entertainment event that features more than a dozen street performances. Several of our other events feature the arts and music.

I Have Worked With

Friends of the State House is a great partner in Art Walk, and we had a lot of fun promoting Ceres on a Stick, our promotional campaign to raise awareness around the restoration of the State House Dome and the statue of Ceres.

Center for Arts and Learning

Arts Center

The Center for Arts and Learning plays a key role in bringing together arts organizations, both in a physical space and in through their collaborations. They are a regular Art Walk venue and a key player in our 2019 ArtsFest.

LOST NATION THEATER, INCORPORATED
