Michael LaRiccia is a graphic designer, illustrator, comic book artist, animator and writer. He received a BFA (Umass Amherst) and MFA (SIUE) in printmaking. In 2005 he was a recipient of the Xeric grant, an award for comic book self-publishers, and has published several titles including: Black Mane, The Death of Black Mane and the Feared Self, Satori, DISCO, TOO FAST: The Story of Blood Billin, and Pirahnaz. In recent years he has illustrated for several tabletop games inculding the successfully kickstarted 2017 fantasy game Savage Planet Fate of Fantos. In addition to game art he creates animation commercially and indepently. Other areas of expertise include childrens book art, t-shirt design, storyboarding, and logo design.
