Melinda McCreven

I am a visual artist specializing in nature-based sculpture and installation. I am also a horticultural therapist and willow grower. I grow a range of willow varieties in multiple locations from which I craft installations, living willow/plant based structures, and dried willow sculpture. I have created willow based sculpture and installations for theatrical productions, both as stage props and as interactive pieces for immersive theater events and festivals. I also produce willow for basket weaving. I have worked with special populations as a nature based arts therapist and horticultural therapist, growing flowers and creating gardens and growing spaces for nursing home residents.
