ME
Mayo Street Arts (MSA) is a community focused performance and live events venue, celebrating multicultural and international cultures with music, dance, and puppet theater. The mission of MSA is to strengthen its neighborhood and community by providing a vibrant, safe, and inspiring center for the arts, and to engage neighborhood youths of diverse cultural communities in quality learning experiences in the visual, performing, and literary arts.
MSA's Summer Youth Programs include K-1 Morning Tutoring, the RAD! program, and the free lunch program. The goal is to provide a vibrant, safe and inspiring center of summer learning that helps children ages 5-11 reach grade reading level. The program engages youth in the arts, builds community in Portland's East Bayside and surrounding neighborhoods, and is accessible to low income families in the community.
