Make-It Springfield

Make-It Springfield is an open creative space that serves all ages and abilities, individuals or groups, drop-ins or special collaborations. We provide supplies, materials and equipment for creative practice, opportunities to learn and share skills, and we collaborate with local organizations, schools and social service agencies to meet a variety of creative needs in our community. 

Anyone can drop in during our open hours to use our visual arts and sewing materials, supplies and equipment for free. We also have woodworking tools, jewelry beading materials, and more. Please let us know if you are thinking about a particular idea - we would like to help you figure out how to accomplish your goals! 

We also have space for hanging exhibits of artwork and would be happy to host your work and your receptions.

We are committed to providing accessible opportunities for all. We utilize a sliding scale system for all our activities and we work hard to meet the needs of whoever wants to access our space, workshops or opportunities. 

Our space is also available to rent or for small or large groups to use for events, parties, arts activities and more. We can provide facilitated arts experiences, or you can rent and use our space as needed. 

Make-It Springfield provides a multicultural home that invites creativity, invention, and artistic experimentation through dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of skills and ideas.
