I work primarily with abstract sculptural forms, influenced by processes in nature and constructed spaces. I received an MFA in Sculpture from Boston University in 2007. Upon graduation I was awarded an Outstanding Achievement in Sculpture Award from the International Sculpture Center, an MFA Grant from the Joan Mitchell Foundation, and a residency at the Edward Albee Foundation. In 2008 I received a Pollock-Krasner grant. I was the Visiting Professor of Art at Davidson College in North Carolina for two years. In 2013 I was chosen to be the first sculptor awarded the Clark Hulings Fund grant.
