Lon E Plynton is a Multi-instrumentalist, Composer, Recording Artist, Producer, Promoter, Entertainer, Entrepreneur and Educator. The force behind ventures such as Lion Eye productions and The New England Reggae Festival, he is a beloved music teacher at School One, Sophia Academy and the OCYL. A member of RISCA's teaching artists education roster, he originally became known internationally for his work as bandleader and recording artist of the Mystic Jammers. Mr. Plynton received an Alumnx Legacy Award for his work as Music Director at Brown University's Rites and Reason Theater and is a professional musician that performs with RPM Voices of RI and many ensembles throughout the New England area.
