Institution/Business Type: Community Service Organization

The Latinx Community Center for Empowerment (LCCE) is a nonprofit organization based in Lowell, Massachusetts, dedicated to empowering the Latinx community through education, cultural celebration, and social services. Our mission to empower community members by means of education for their active participation in the workforce, civic engagement, and decision-making with the purpose to promote socioeconomic development. LCCE offers a wide range of programs, including English and Spanish HiSET classes, business seminars, financial literacy workshops, civic engagement activities, and cultural events such as the annual Lowell Hispanic & Latinx Festival.

Through our efforts, we aim to preserve and celebrate Latinx culture while fostering community development and engagement. We collaborate with local businesses, educational institutions, and civic organizations to create pathways for economic and social growth. Our center serves as a vital hub where the community can access educational resources, cultural events, and support services in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

At LCCE, we are committed to ensuring that the voices of the Latinx community are heard and represented, and we strive to create a space where all community members can thrive. We welcome collaborations with artists, performers, educators, and other nonprofit organizations who share our vision of empowering the Latinx community.
