Kind Bud

Institution/Business Type: Artist / Creative (Individual)

2016 Bud began his solo career and perfected his skill as a live “looper”. Kind Bud records (dubs) his acoustic guitar live, while performing. He loops the recordings seamlessly back into the mix, building layers and creating rhythms for solo improvisations. A one-man duo, Kind Bud delivers a full show, whether you dance to his music, watch the mastery of his live guitar dubs, or sing along with his soft-strong voice, sweet and true. Bud is a Rex Foundation musician, plays music festivals in the US and Jamaica and also apres skis in Vermont.

When COVID struck in March 2020, Bud started performing live on his Facebook page, every other day from 4:20 - 6:00PM. Later in September, after 75 livestreams, Bud scaled back to every Friday. He played every Friday over the next year, adding another 50 shows.  With COVID restrictions easing, Bud has been performing out in the public at venues, resorts, and festivals. He is still performing online, but only on the final Friday of each month.  To date he has performed 127 online shows and has played 762 different songs. All the videos are archived on his FB page, Kind Bud.

Kind Bud’s new album, “Jenuine Kind Bud” ~ Songs to uplift humanity, inspired by the poetry of Jen Ward“ is Kind Bud’s second solo CD, his first being a live album, “Peace Love and Music.  Find tour dates and links to purchase CDs by visiting Kind Bud’s website http://www.thekindbuds.com/1kindbud or his FaceBook page https://www.facebook.com/1KindBud.  Look for Kind Bud on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and all major streaming services.
