GRAMMY (R) nominated singer-songwriter Judy Pancoast, M. Ed, has been creating clever and original music for children since 1996. She was nominated for a Grammy in 2011 for her CD "Weird Things are Everywhere: A Reading Road Trip with Judy Pancoast" and she was also featured on the winning album in 2012.

Audiences all over the world also know her perennial holiday hit, "The House on Christmas Street." The official video of the song has over a quarter of a million views on YouTube.com.

SCHOOLS: Judy is available for songwriting residencies in elementary schools. Her Master's Degree in Education with a focus on writing informs all of her work in schools. Judy's school assemblies encourage students to get into the books! Her multi-media assmebly program, "Weird Things are Everywhere: A Reading Road Trip with Judy Pancoast" incorporates children's literature with fun facts about the USA. She also has assemblies for young children that focus on reading and reading readiness.

MUSICAL THEATER: Judy's musical for young teens, entitled GIRL ON THE MOON, is now available for licensing by schools and theater groups. The show has had successful presentations in OH and NH and is soon to be produced in CA. Learn more at www.girlonthemoon.org. She has also collaborated with the author Joe R. Lansdale on a musical adaptation of his novella, "Christmas with the Dead." Her newest "grown-up" musical is currently in development.

CABARET: Judy's loving tribute to her musical idols, The Carpenters, tells the story of her adolescence in Maine, growing up as the duo's #1 fan. It has been presented to rave reviews in New York City and beyond.

SENIORS: Judy loves to perform for seniors, and they enjoy her winning presentations of music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Family concerts, Christmas concerts, and a special cabaret show dedicated to the music of The Carpenters...Judy is available to bring all of these special experiences to your venue/event.
