Honey Goodenough is educator/puppeteer/clown/magician and Resident Teaching Artist at Puppet Showplace Theater in Boston. She has assisted with Heather Henson’s Ibex Puppetry productions and also as Production Manger. She founded Good Hearted Entertainment and performs “WORD PLAY” and “Sock Monkey Circus," which debuted in China last year as part of the AEMI Clown Comedy Festival. She is one of the few female Marionette performers to tour throughout the Puppet Slam Network. She is pleased to present her work in the National Puppet slam at the Center for Puppetry Arts for the 4th time. She received a Jim Henson Foundation Seed Grant to produce "Handle with Care." Credits include "The Fuzz" on Hulu, and puppeteered on the Sia video "Clap Your Hands" which received an Aria in Australia. She has worked with Kathy Mullen and Michael Frith via No Strings International. She has also worked on videos from Comedy Central and Buzzfeed.  

She has also taught a wide variety of professional development courses for educators and aspiring puppeteers at Brooklyn College, the University of Utah, and City College CUNY. Honey is a trained marionette performer and has performed with PuppetWorks, and toured nationally with the National Marionette Theatre and Frisch Marionettes. Honey holds an MA in Educational Theater from New York University, and a BA in Theater Crafts and Technology from the University of Texas, Austin.
