Institution/Business Type: Artist / Creative (Individual)

I am a professional theater artist with over 20 years of experience producing and touring original puppet productions. I specialize in arts-based curriculum development and have designed puppet programs for numerous institutions from preschools to universities. As the founding Artistic Director of “Cozy Arts” I collaborate with multiple artists across the US and Canada to create in-person and virtual puppet resources for family audiences. I also freelance as a puppet designer, director, and performance coach.

Accessibility of Services

Accessibility of Services:

  • Accessible website and/or multimedia for people with sensory disabilities

I strive to weave access into my work at every step — from concept and scripting to productions and resources. The themes, characters and stories in my productions are designed with physical, functional and social access in mind. Theater can be a sensory and social challenge to many, and my hope that I can help provide the opportunity to experience the magic and community of theater at a supported pace. The actors, writers and directors that I work with are trained to welcome and engage with audience members — including unplanned moments — so that all children are a welcome part of every audience. Additionally, all of my productions and educational engagements include pre-visit accessibility support materials.
