RI
I'm a classically trained ballet and contemporary dancer working as a principal at Festival Ballet Providence. I am passionate about creating movement and frequently freelance and choreograph contemporary work. I feel that keeping a variety of different dance styles flowing through my body makes me a better artist. I am also proud to be a co-director of the RI Women's Choreography Project, a local organization providing choreographic opportunities to up and coming female-identifying artists.
I completed my classical ballet training at Boston Ballet School, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and New York City-based SLK Ballet School. I attended summer programs at ART of Marseille Forsythe Workshop, the Harid Conservatory, Boston Ballet, and the Academie de Danse Princesse Grace in Monaco. As a professional, I have performed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, California, Missouri, and Washington DC, exploring multiple dance disciplines and methods of movement. Creatively, I am passionate about contemporary movement, pushing boundaries, being responsible as a dancer for the decisions I make, and collaboration.
