Elyse Langer

Elyse has been a singer/songwriter for most of her life and has truly discovered her musical joy while living in the beautiful Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. Her intimate, autobiographical songwriting draws from a lifetime of traveling, teaching, meeting amazing people wherever she goes and finding delight and humor whenever possible. She grew up outside New York City, circumnavigated the globe on a Semester at Sea, and lived in places such as Colorado, California, Alaska, and Cape Cod before visiting the Pioneer Valley and realizing definitively that it’s where she was meant to put down roots. For the past 20 years, she has worked as an educator, singer, and voiceover artist in the Valley and beyond.

Recently, you might have seen her featured on the cover of UMass Magazine singing with her choir–Rock Voices‒for which she is a regular soloist at the Academy of Music in Northampton. She has also  been a featured performer for TEDx Easthampton Women, has upcoming gigs at local venues, and does professional vocal recording on occasion.
