Institution/Business Type: Performing Group

Dream Tale Puppets offers highly engaging puppet performances for children and families, as well as theatrical and educational programs for children and adults. The theater is dedicated to the study of traditional and developing original styles of puppetry, with a special focus on the relationship between acting, puppetry, and visual arts. This leads us toward creating a theatrical language and fun-filled teaching methods, bringing joy to audiences and cultural enrichment to the New England communities we engage

Jacek Zuzanski, Dream Tale Puppets founder, devises, conducts, and directs workshops and residencies in various styles of puppetry, physical theatre, and theatre of masks. Workshops include technique training in acting, acting with puppets and other performing objects, puppet design and construction, and children’s theatre productions. Productions with children are based on adaptations of folk stories and fairy tales from around the world, well-known children’s literature, or on the original texts written for workshops or as part of the workshops.
