Cathedral of the Pines is a 236 acre serene, natural sanctuary surrounded by mountain vistas in Rindge, NH. It is a place of beauty created by nature. The outdoor sanctuary can seat 300 guests for various services, performances and other events. Our mission is to provide educational programs and public events which promote peace, interfaith understanding, and respect for the natural environment. The Altar of the Nations was recognized by Congress in 1957 as a national memorial to all American War Dead. It is composed of stones from all 50 states and every preseident since Harry Truman. The Women's Memorial Bell Tower, created by Norman and Peter Rockwell is a tribute to all of the women who have made sacrifices to our nation. The Tree of Life Fountain symbolizes the healing of the nations. Hilltop House incorporates stones and icons from all over the world as a symbol of peace, understanding and unity.
We try to bring relevant lecturers, artisans, musicians and theatrical groups here to help promote the vision of our founders, Douglas and Sibyl Sloane. We try to be at the heart of the Monadnock region for both our local communities and people who visit from all over the world.
