Benjamin Sears & Bradford Conner have been called "Boston's favorite song duo" by the Boston Globe, and “the delightful cabaret team” by the Boston Phoenix.  Recipients of IRNE (Independent Reviewers of New England) and LIP (Life in Provincetown) awards, they have performed as a duo since 1989.

Their critically acclaimed programs of the Great Amercian Songbook feature songs by Irving Berlin, George & Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rogers & Lornez Hart, E.Y. Harburg, along with shows dedicated to performers such as Fred Astaire.  Sears & Conner also give popular lecture/demonstrations on this material, featuring rrecordings and film clips.

Sears & Conner are noted recording artists with many CD releases, many featuring first recordings of songs by Irving Berlin, George & Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, and E.Y. Harburg.  Their Irving Berlin series includes Come On And Hear! - Early Songs by Irving Berlin, Keep On Smiling, She’s So Beautiful, Everybody Step - Irving Berlin’s Music Box Revues, and Marching Along With Time – Irving Berlin Songs, 1935-1945.  George & Ira Gershwin are represented with Delishious - Lyrics by Ira Gershwin and Sweet and Low-Down - Songs by George Gershwin.  Other CDs are Beyond the Rainbow - Lyrics by E.Y. Harburg, Noël and Cole - Together with Music, Fred & Ethel – Great Songs of Astaire and Merman, and a “live” recording, Rest You Merry - A Holiday Cabaret.  Just release is Reaching for the Moon, songs by Irving Berlin covering the years 1925-1935.

Sears & Conner are also Producing Directors of the concert series American Classics.  They have appeared throughout New England, in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and in Europe in Oxford, England and Paris, France.
