The Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire is a nonprofit membership network with a mission to promote, support and sustain arts, culture and heritage throughout the northern half of the Granite State. Our members include individuals, artists, families, arts organizations, schools, non-profit organizations and businesses. The Arts Alliance works to inspire through creative and educational arts programming; to include through networking and collaborations; and to inform Northern New Hampshire community residents about cultural opportunities of all kinds while also promoting the region to visitors. We believe that arts, culture and heritage are vital to Northern New Hampshire’s quality of life -- strengthening education, building community and stimulating economic development and tourism. Our programming and initiatives are all highly collaborative – we work through partnership with organizations and agencies throughout the region, the state and New England. The majority of our work is with youth, the heart of our communities, through cultural programs of all kinds and through professional development opportunities for educators. We work directly with interested administrators, teachers, parents and community volunteers to plan and adapt programming to the needs of individual towns and to help locate and develop funding sources for local programs.

Accessibility of Services:
In addition to offering accessible accommodations for people who use a wheelchair and have limited mobility, we encourage our audiences and our partners to reach out to us in advance of our programs so that we can accommodate everyone. We work with artists-in-residence to make sure that their programs are as accessible as possible with the principals of universal design for learning in mind.
