For more than 25 years, Angelynne Hinson has performed in regional theatres, churches and concert halls. She has collaborated with many artists throughout her career including founding an award-winning jazz a cappella quartet (White Noise), a critically acclaimed classical duo (Sirens’ Song) and a consortium of recital/theatre professionals (vocollage).
As an educator and artist in residence, Angelynne has worked with hundreds of students in her 25 years as a voice instructor and mentor. She developed and implemented voice and music composition curricula for Arts in Reach (Portsmouth NH), Cantata Singers (Boston, MA), and York County Regional Fine Arts Program (Maine).
Currently Angelynne develops therapeutic singing programs and workshops for people with Parkinson’s, COPD and other breathing related conditions partnering with healthcare and governmental institutions. An engaging speaker on-line and in-person, Angelynne has introduced her work at conferences, as guest song leader, on YouTube and on podcasts.
A native of NH, Angelynne has been active as an arts and culture advocate in the Seacoast serving on the boards of The Music Hall, Discover Portsmouth, and Portsmouth Athenaeum.
