Each sculptural project explores what is it in each site that has evolved layer upon layer to make a place meaningful? Public art installations form a visual Haiku, Helix Garden: Chihuahuan Desert (Texas Tech University,2015), From the River to the River: Connecticut River (Brattleboro, 2016), Between Earth and Sky: Prairie Grasses (University of Nebraska, 2018) EchoLuminous: Wind from Lake Champlain (ECHO Center, 2019). Each project strives to make conscious and to map the profound transformation; the realities both distant and concrete that time, change, growth, and science are leaving and have left on this landscape. The work (in collaboration with Elizabeth Billings and Evie Lovett) reveals essential elements that define the site while paying homage to the power of change in a complex series of patterns that mark a moment in time and our shifting and tenuous connection to the earth.
