VT
Hello Community! My background includes - earning an MFA from Smith College, a BA from Keene State College, and a diploma in dance studies from London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire. After graduate school, I left New England for New York City, navigated the modern dance scene, fronted a few bands, met my partner and had a baby! After years of swirling around NYC, our family moved to Ardmore, a suburb of Philadelphia. While pushing the stroller in my new neighborhood, I discovered an idyllic, one-acre park and "Park Dancing" was born! I began facilitating community dance events inspired by Fluxus art and using tools of performance improvisation that took root and continued for over three years. Alas, we desired a more rural setting for our son's upbringing and relocated to Vermont! I look forward to crossing paths with you!
