Born in Boston, Adriane Brayton is Co-Artistic Director of Continuum Dance Project (CDP). CDP is a Boston based dance company focused on creating site-specific work, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and reflecting the backgrounds of its collaborating artists. Adriane, along with CDP received a 2020 Live Arts Boston grant from the Boston Foundation, and the 2017 winter Choreographers' Residency program at the Boston Center for the Arts.
Adriane attended the Boston Arts Academy and Connecticut College. Her work has been performed at Pao Arts Center, The Eustice Estate, The Boston Center for the Arts, The Outside the Box Festival, The Somerville Theater, Tufts University, The Museum of Science, The Dance Complex, Larz Anderson Park, and Brandeis University. From 2014-2016 Adriane was a guest artist for the Expansive Meanings and Makings in Art Science Project in partnership with the National Science Foundation. Adriane is a 2018 recipient of the New England Dance Fund granted by the New England Foundation for the Arts, with support from the Aliad Fund from The Boston Foundation. Adriane is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and a United States Pilates Association Certified Instructor, and GYROKINESIS Method Instructor.
