¡Con Fuego! – combines Spanish classical music with original flamenco choreography, castanets, and singing. A unique ensemble juxtaposing classical and folk traditions, we perform as a trio with cello/violin, and have worked with string quartets in residence and orchestras. We bring together the best parts of classical music: compositional masterpieces, harmony, color, variation, and add our favorite parts of flamenco: dance, castanets, costumes, poetry, and fire!

For residencies at universities and colleges ¡Con Fuego! collaborates with departments such as Spanish, history, dance, women’s studies, theater, and music. We also host workshops and masterclasses in flamenco and guitar. Experienced in outreach as well, we very much enjoy sharing our art in the community via young people’s concerts.
