Institution/Business Type: Performing Group

Nimble Arts is a circus production company led by award winning aerialist twins Elsie Smith & Serenity Smith Forchion, winners of the Vermont Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts and the American Circus Educators Award for Excellence in Education. Formerly with Cirque du Soleil and recipients of international circus artist medals, we create inventive works of theatrical circus from a single act to a full production, for special events and touring shows, but we are especially interested in public art that brings together different people in open spaces that are truly welcoming to all.

We have a freestanding aerial rig that sets up indoors or out of doors so our circus shows are self contained and easy to set up.

We are also the only company in New England creating site specific vertical dance performance from trees and on building facades and are looking to collaborate with location hosts to bring audiences into the environment to connect with landscape and history, and personalize climate change through performance.
