The Mid-Cape Cultural Council, a local partner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, promotes and supports the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences to benefit people in Barnstable and Yarmouth. Made up of town appointed volunteer members, it awards grants to individuals, schools, and nonprofits for community based cultural programs. The annual grant deadline is October 15th. Generally, grants range from $200-$1000. The MCCC accepts tax deductible donations to increase its grant giving capacity. It is tax exempt as a Town of Barnstable local agency.
