Marvelous Marvin has been performing his unique educational entertainment for 20 yrs. With stunning visuals, excellent magic, skillful circus arts and an infectious rhyming text, Marvin's science and math shows keeps younger students engaged, older students interested and adults satisfied.

Highlights include, performing regularly at the Bank of America Showcase at the Providence Performing Arts Center for 2000 students. Cynthia Goldsmith, coordinator writes, "Marvin has developed such a creative and entertaining presentation of educational material that “How The Body Works” has consistently been booked to capacity each time he has performed".

Another highlight includes CT Public Broadcasting's Annual Science Expo. Jane Moreno, Coordinator, writes "We were thrilled to have Marvelous Marvin perform his rhyming and wonderfully fun show, “How The Body Works”. Marvin's creative approach engaged and delighted our audience with many surprises".

Adaptable for theaters, schools, libraries and special events. Shows include, "The Magic Of Science", "How The Body Works", "Bugging Out", "The Science/Dance Experience", "My Health Circus Extravaganza" and his newest show, "Mathblast"makes math fun with a show for younger students and one for older students.

    "How the Body Works" brings to life the wonders and fun!-of physiology. Included is a six-foot tall house that unfolds to 25 feet wide. Behind each panel is a surprise: human-cell micro-photographs, a giant brain and a chorus of skeletons.

    "The Magic of Science" explains the scientific process, from the art of experimenting to the creation of an invention. With simple experiments that kids can try at home, they learn about air pressure, carbon dioxide and the invention of the wheel.

    See a magic show that defines science. Play with toys and verbalize the action words discovered while playing. Next, using the action words, Marvelous Marvin conducts a movement class in which students explore science principles kinesthetically.

Technical Requirements:

  • When in a theater, lighting cues are minimal, good sound and the ability to set up the day before the show. For venues like schools and libraries, I travel with my own sound system and need at least one hour and a half to set up prior to show.
