Institution/Business Type: Arts Camp / Institute (short-term experience)

Liars & Believers is currently touring YELLOW BIRD CHASE and A STORY BEYOND. Our shows can be paired with educational workshops for any ages in Puppetry, Clown, and Story-telling.

Following a 5-star run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, YELLOW BIRD CHASE wowed at APAP this January. The piece

follows a clownish maintenance crew who finds a magical bird, and a mad chase begins. Racing over land, across the sea, and through the air - battling pirates and monsters – how far will our heroes go without ever leaving the maintenance room? Leap into the imagination, with Liars & Believers on an adventure of masks, puppets, and gibberish. "Captivating....perfect....incredible"- Broadway Baby "An utter joy"- Theater Weekly "Do not let it pass you by"- Broadway World

Yellow Bird Chase is fun for all ages, and is accessible to Deaf and hard of hearing audiences. 50 minutes, 3 actors, variable technical requirements.

Liars & Believers creates original live performances that move hearts and challenge the boundaries of theater, with unique shows that meaningfully engage the world we share. We combine movement, dance, music, puppetry, mask and more in multi-disciplinary works that are a thought-provoking sensory explosion. We reach out to people looking for fun and open to the unexpected. We also present workshops on creative collaboration and physical story-telling. Boston Survival Guide calls Liars & Believers "the region's most experimental and visionary artists." The New York Times calls our work, “"intriguingly ominous"” and "“inspired."” Check out videos, soundtracks and photos on our website.

We are a non-profit company. We are seeking partners to create a tour of multiple venues that is cost effective for presenters and artists alike.
