The Hampstead Stage Company is a nationally-touring theater for youth, based in New England, specializing in literature classics (bringing books to life for over 30 years!). We travel to all 48 contiguous states year round, performing at schools, libraries, and other community centers. We strive to make high quality performance, education, and arts enrichment available to any and every audience, no matter their audience size, geographic location, or socioeconomic standing. We are a low-maintenance performance group with very minimal setup. This allows us to be in venues of any size (we work very well in smaller venues!). Using only two actors, our quick costume changes and many characterizations are sure to entertain! Our shows and workshops run 45-60 minutes, and include a Q&A with our actors. Most of our programs are geared to audiences of all ages (PK-8). We do not require a stage or electrical equipment. All of our shows have a free downloadable study guide and recommended reading list.
