Institution/Business Type: Performing Group

Camerata New England combines the rich, lush sonorities of a large group of string instruments with the intimate clarity of a chamber ensemble. Since 2009, Camerata New England has been developing just the right combination of performers to create our unique sound. Essential to that sound is that every member of the ensemble is a highly qualified, expert musician. Each Camerata New England performer is distinguished in his or her own right, as well as a superb ensemble player. Camerata New England is proud to draw nationally and internationally renowned musicians to participate in this remarkable chamber ensemble.

Camerata New England performs in chamber groups of different sizes to offer communities in and around New England access to professional, live musical experiences of the highest quality. Camerata New England concerts are known for their quality, power, and beauty—and our performers are known for their expertise, their musicality, their approachability, and their gift for bringing audiences closer to the heart of extraordinary classical music.

Educational outreach is an essential part of Camerata New England's mission, especially in areas that are traditionally underserved. We are proud to work with our partners to enhance musical learning through our in-school programs and the Lebanon Strings Program.

Based in New Hampshire, Camerata New England performs around the state and throughout New England. Camerata New England is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
