Acquiring its name from the flowering vine, this National Historic Landmark features parquet floors, vaulted ceilings, elaborate woodwork and two marble lions that have guarded the entrance since the late nineteenth century. Wistariahurst was originally the home of prominent silk manufacturer William Skinner and his family. The museum offers a lively schedule of historic house and group tours, concerts, exhibits and garden workshops. Please call or check website for a schedule of events. www.wistariahurst.org
