The Collins Center for the Arts is on the campus of the University of Maine, Orono. The building was opened on September 20, 1986 and was constructed privately without tax support or public funding of any kind. The Collins Center provides a cultural focus for the University campus, the communities of the region, and all the citizens of the State of Maine.
