Sarah Slifer Swift is a dance artist making solo and group performance projects of choreography, site-specific work, and improvisation. As a dancer she has performed with Maida Withers Dance Construction Company, Vincent Cacialano, Ina Hahn, and Caitlin Corbett, among others. She is curator of the Live Art Series at Trident Gallery (www.Tridentgallery.com) , and was previously curator and director of the Gloucester New Arts Festival, an annual multi-day festival that featured site-specific visual art and performance. Her awards include a 2010 Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship in Choreography, and emerging artist awards from St. Botolph Foundation and Green Street Studios. She teaches dance at Salem State University, Boston Ballet, Liza Indiciani Studio of Dance, and in the Gloucester Public School System through the Gloucester Education Foundation.
