With my wife, Hillary Hoffman, I own Federal Street Books, a used bookstore in Greenfield, Massachusetts. 



I am also a writer of short fiction and essays. My work has appeared in Greensboro Review, Washington Square, Catapult, The Smart Set, Prairie Schooner online, Electric Literature, and elsewhere, and has been nominated for Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize.
