MONTGOMERY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

  The Montgomery Historical Society has many artifacts on dislay that have been donated or are on loaned to us.  We have a large collection of photos and ephemera donated by townspeople. 

  Society members have been involved in historic renovations of the Historical Society building (originally the Montgomery Town Hall), Town Church and Town Carriage Shed - one of the few remaining carriage sheds in the state of Massachusetts. 

  The society awards one or more High School Scholarships each year with monies gained through our annual fundraisers - a Penny Social, Roast Pork dinner and Chicken Pie supper.  We offer two "outings" each year - one to in-town historical sites and a second to a historical site in a neighboring town.
