MEDICINE BAND

The Medicine Band combines the best of traditional Celtic music and original songs in a unique group and sound with the fiddle and harmonica providing the main melody, bohdran and djembe the drive, with bass and guitar adding a contemporary flavor. Katherine First on fiddle and John Coster on harmonica together create a sound that is reminiscent of pipes or concertina but different and unusual. Jeff Hinrichs plays a variety of percussion that is always appropriate yet surprising in its innovation.
