Institution/Business Type: Performing Group

Donna Jenson founded Time To Tell in 2009 with a mission to spark stories from lives affected by incest and sexual abuse to be told and heard. She wrote and performs her one-woman play, What She Knows: One Woman’s Way Through Incest to Joy, which is based on her own experience of surviving incest and what she did to make her life worth living (www.timetotell.org). She has brought her performance and workshops to conferences and organizations focused on juvenile sex abusers, girls in prison, college students, domestic violence and sexual assault advocates, and communities in need of healing from high profile abuse cases. Donna has been a consultant, support group leader, trainer and leadership coach to for over three decades. Through her grass roots organizing, in the 1970’s and 80’s, she built three women centers in the greater New York City area.
