Dennis Caraher

I have been writing and performing for families and children for twenty years. My CD's have won the Parents' Choice Silver and Gold medals and my poetry has been featured on Garrison Keillor's "The Writers' Almanac".

I grew up on a farm in Iowa so a lot of my songs are about animals and wide-open spaces. My shows feature a lot of movement and sing-a-long.

I also do shows as "Cowboy Caraher" where I wear boots and a hat and sing songs of the American West.

I also conduct song-writing workshops for adults and kids.
