The purpose of the Cummington Cultural District is to engage the entire town in an inclusive and positive effort to identify priorities and work towards a vibrant Village area with collaborative programming and marketing to new audiences to experience all the things which make Cummington special. We have identified three primary goals:

Goal 1 - Community Cohesion

Goal 2 - Collaborative Programming & Marketing

Goal 3 - Enhanced Space and Buildings through Arts & Culture

By coming together to form a cultural district and working together to achieve the prioritized goals, Cummington hopes to use artists' vision and creativity to revitalize its economy, improve underutilized space, and bring residents together around a shared identity.
