Institution/Business Type: Arts Service Organization

Artists of Springfield MA is working to raise the visibility of all Springfield artists. We are a new organization and our goals are: to be inclusive and supportive of the full range of all art forms, to subsidize the professional and entrepreneurial development of our artists, to claim a seat at the table of city initiatives, and to raise our collective visibility in the region. Our strategies include: extensive networking and outreach, effective communication that meets the needs of all stakeholders, fund raising, and seeking a working hub/space in the city. We will build an online directory and portfolio of our artists, we will support our artists' entrepreneurial efforts, we will connect our artists to professional opportunities, and we will inform the region about the artists and arts and culture of Springfield MA. As THE urban center of Western Massachusetts, we believe Springfield should provide the biggest and best arts and culture resources in our region and we will advocate for and support any effort that work towards that goal.

As of January 2019, we are a registered non-profit organization in Massachusetts, working towards 501c3 status. Contact us if you would like to reach artists of all kinds in Springfield MA.
