Institution/Business Type: Performing Group

Lorelei Ensemble is an eight-voice women's vocal ensemble committed to the performance of contemporary classical repertoire. Based in Boston, Lorelei performs on artist series throughout New England and the United States. Lorelei is especially interested in efforts to expand the repertoire, collaborating with composers since 2007 to commission over sixty new works. Lorelei Ensemble is equally dedicated to exposing young performers to living classical music through workshops and performance. Outreach and residency programs are designed to fit the needs of each individual school. Programs offered include masterclasses for vocal ensembles or composers and a concert featuring Lorelei.
